On the lab we aim to understand systematic relationship and evolution of Scleractinian corals, how shallow and cold-water corals are structured through space, what the species genomes can tell us about the adaptation to different environments, how the coral holobiont respond to the daily changes in light and temperature, and how can use environmental DNA (eDNA) to investigate coral reefs.
